FFS Bagger Vs Full Pneumatic Chute Bagger

In the 70’s the automation of food packing started and it really took off in the 80’s. In those days the machines were largely mechanical in nature they had a train of gears and pulleys and mechanical linkages that did the job. It was really fantastic how just by mechanical movements a lot of automation was achieved. These machines are cheaper to buy but have some serious limitations when compared to the pneumatic counter parts. In the pneumatic machines, compressed air is used for movement and electronic controls govern their movement. This gives a huge flexibility in the machines at a marginal increase in cost which can be recovered in a short period of time. And in many cases almost immediately as what you do in a pneumatic machine, you may require 3 mechanical FFS machines to do the same job.
